Zimbabwean woman is mauled to death by a lion during outdoor tryst
Things can change quickly when you're outdoors in a dangerous place.
One minute, you're having a passionate quickie with your boyfriend, and the next minute you're mauled to death by a lion.
Sharai Mawera and her boyfriend were getting intimate in the Zimbabwe Bush when they were attacked. Mawera was killed, but her boyfriend, who fled — naked — toward the nearby road to seek help, survived. Friends of the couple suggested this "may not have been their first sexual escapade in that location," which does sound like they were playing a numbers game, what with repeatedly having sex outdoors in an area home to lions.
Authorities say this same lion could be the one that killed a local man over the weekend as he walked home from a nightclub.
