He launched Kanye Travel Ventures in 2008, where fans can book travel reservations. But it was voted as one of the worst brand extensions of 2008 in a poll conducted by New York-based consultant TippingSprung in conjunction with Brandweek Magazine.

Get your drink on
Kanye will work with New York-based GURU Beverage Co. to create an energy drink--down to choosing flavors and the packaging, said GURU co-founder Ray Jolicoeur. The company hadn't worked with celebrities until Kanye's people called, he said, praising Ye's "authenticity and philosophy for living life fully." As part of the deal, West is now a partner in the company, but Jolicoeur declined to discuss Kanye's financial stake.

Sniffing scents
Ft. Lauderdale-based Parlux Fragrances inked a deal to launch Kanye's scent in 2010 as well as Rihanna's. West will be paid in royalties, profit sharing and warrants to buy 3 million shares of Parlux stock at $5 per share, according to Parlux financial documents.

Who's the boss
Not only is he an artist, but he's also the CEO of the record label GOOD (Getting Out Our Dreams) Music.

Dressing up
He's spending the next few months working on his upcoming Past Tell clothing line, according to Flare magazine.

Sneaker pimp
Air Yeezy kicks went on sale April 4 for $215 a pair. Nike agreed to make a donation to the Kanye West Foundation but would not disclose the amount. The Louis Vuitton sneakers Kanye designed in collaboration with Marc Jacobs will be available in stores in June, according to people.com. The shoes, MTV News reported, will range in price from $840 to $1,140.
