Another day, another dress for Mariah Carey as she parades yet more stunning outfits at Cannes

After arriving in the French Riviera with a mountain of luggage, it was clear Mariah Carey wasn't going to be short of outfits at the Cannes Film Festival.

And today the singer showed the effort of transporting the haul was worth it as she squeezed into her umpteenth dress - a stunning skin-tight red ensemble.

The 40-year-old teamed the look with her trademark sunglasses as she left the Martinez hotel on Sunday with husband Nick Cannon, 28.

On Saturday night she cut an equally alluring impression clad in a patterned Roberto Cavalli dress with a plunging neckline.

She was spotted on fashion designer Roberto Cavalli's yacht where she openly kissed husband Cannon who she wed in a surprise ceremony in the Bahamas last year after just a month of dating.

Earlier in the night, in true diva style, Mariah turned up fashionably late to a party being held to celebrate Friday's screening of her new movie Precious.

Guests at the party at Nikki Beach, where cocktails were served at 8pm and dinner followed at 9pm, had given up hope after the star earlier cancelled her scheduled appearance.

However she then sashayed in with Cannon at 11:30pm.

According to one guest the singer cum actress lit up the crowd, with many fellow diners holding phones aloft to take her picture.

'She was shaking everyone's hands, having kisses, saying "thank you' for everything. She said the premiere was fantastic,"' a fellow diner told People.com.

The star greeted friends around the table, including Precious director Lee Daniels.

After 20 minutes of socialising, Mariah and Cannon then left for the party on Roberto Cavalli's yacht.

Other star guest spotted at the event, which runs until May 25, included Paris Hilton and boyfriend Doug Reinhardt.
