Pregnant Heidi Klum opts for comfort over style as she enjoys a day with the kids

She may be one of the world's top supermodels, but pregnant Heidi Klum is refusing to follow the crowd of Hollywood mums opting for glamour over comfort.

Unlike her pal Victoria Beckham, who wears the highest of heels when out with her children, Heidi sensibly went for comfortable casualwear as she brought her kids to a playcentre in Los Angeles.

The German beauty, 35, is four months pregnant with her fourth child.

Spotted out in the Culver City district of LA on Saturday, Heidi's burgeoning baby bump was clearly visible under her blue and white checked shirt.

Having just entered her second trimester, Heidi is obviously still slim enough to fit into her skinny jeans, which she teamed with some studded flip-flops and a leather bag.

Heidi and her husband of four years, British singer Seal, are expecting their baby in October.

The couple have two sons together - Henry Günther Ademola Dashtu Samuel, three, and Johan Riley Fyodor Taiwo Samuel, two.

Seal is also step-father to Heidi's five-year-old daughter, Leni, whose biological father is Italian F1 boss and Queen Parks Rangers FC owner Flavio Briatore.

The singer started dating Heidi while she pregnant with Leni and considers the little girl his daughter. Briatore has no involvement in the child's life.

He previously asked the media to stop referring to Henry as his 'first' child, saying: 'Leni is my first child. Just like Henry I saw her take shape and move in Heidi's body. And I was present at her birth, too.'

Heidi admitted their fourth child hadn't been planned, but also insisted it hadn't been 'not planned' either.

She said: 'We were kind of leaving it open. We were always looking around the table and always thought one more would be nice.

'And we kind of took one baby at a time and every time we thought yeah, one more that's it.... But I think now it's the first time I feel like this is it.

'We'd be happy with either (sex). But it would be a lie if I said we all weren't hoping for a little girl - especially Leni, because she would love to have a little sister.'

Last week, the couple renewed their wedding vows in a 'white trash' themed wedding at a friend's Los Angeles home.

Expectant Heidi wore a hideous white lacy bridal gown and wore her hair in ill-advised braids, while Seal donned a mullet wig and American flag shirt.

The couple have frequently spoke of their wish for a large family and Heidi clearly loves being pregnant after having so many children in close succession.

After the birth of Johan two years ago, she told People magazine: 'We love that they will grow up close in age. This is what Seal and I have always wanted: a home filled with children's laughter.'

Heidi recently admitted she finds herself getting emotional over the smallest things with her children.

She said: 'I’m a tough woman, but when it comes to my kids, forget about it; I’m always in tears.'
