A love-making ward in Chinese hospital
Sex ward ... couples with infertility problems can use room and the in-house expert
A HOSPITAL has opened a love-making ward where couples with fertility problems can go to try to conceive.
The luxury ward is furnished with red lamps and adjustable double beds to help inspire sexual passion in patients trying for a baby.
Sex skill videos, nurse uniforms and air hostess costumes are available on request and inside each ward will be a doctor who will WATCH.
The professional ‘sex-perts’ will provide biological education and advice on performance.
Use of the facility costs roughly the same as a hotel — £88 per night, per couple.
The Songziniao hospital in Wuhan, China, opened multiple wards just before Christmas, and reportedly forked out £19,915.58 (200,000 RMB) on each room.
According to the President of the hospital, Wang Shengdong, the ‘Second Nuptial Chambers’, were established to provide and appropriate environment to help people trying to conceive.
He said: “Nowadays due to the deterioration of China’s ecological environment, people feel great pressure for survival.
“Some Chinese do not understand getting pregnant is also a technical job. It is actually not as easy as we usually see in a TV drama to get pregnant.
“A sperm has a life of three to five days and an egg survives only 12 hours. A new healthy life will be born only when a sperm meets an egg in appropriate place, time and environment.”
